1 Simple Thing Action:

Define your dailies. Think about 1-3 things you are going to commit to doing every day over the course of the next two weeks. These should be things that stem from your sense of who you are and the value you want to create. It’s these actions that will inform and help you accomplish your vision for your intended audience.

Mentioned In Episode:

The three elements of the Voice Engine:

  1. Identity – Understanding who you are, what you care about, and rooting your work in something substantive.
  2. Vision – Understanding where you want your work to go and your intended audience. Then shape your work so that it connects deeply with your intended audience.
  3. Mastery – You have to be a master of your craft and your platform. You have to know your skill set and understand what you are good at.
