Mike teaches the strategy of working in “modes” so we can get back on track and avoid distractions and disruptions.

1 Simple Thing Action:

Try to organize your to-do lists in “Modes.” Examples would be “Email Mode” or “High Energy Mode” or even “Planning Mode.” We tend to work better when we can tap into the mode we are naturally wanting to be in, and by organizing our list that way we can get more of the right things done more often.
