Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Consultant Alana Cole shares how to properly combine the foods we eat to maximize the way that your body digests food and the energy you get from the food. In this episode Alana shares her method of eating protein with low-starch vegetables greens and pre-digested food.

1 Simple Thing Action:

Eat a small piece of chicken – recommended 3 ounces of lean protein along with some dense starches (which could be sweet potato) and some broccoli for dinner. Really start to notice how your body responds to certain foods, and allow your body the time to adjust and go through that detox of sugar cravings. Keep balance in mind.  It’s all about balance and fuel in your body. Never eliminate a single food group.
