Episode 586: Are You A Heretic?

On Today’s Show

Cort Dial says a heretic in business is someone who can see a problem that no one else sees and can see the next opportunity over the horizon. And while that vision might be apparent to that person, the rest of the organization can be oblivious. That puts the heretic in a challenging situation: they are offering opportunities and solutions to problems that others can’t see.

1 Simple Thing Action

Ask yourself: Am I sure I want to be a heretic? Becoming a business heretic is a high-risk venture that should not be engaged in lightly. You need to have an honest conversation with yourself about whether or not you’re ready for rejection, ostracization, and some serious individual development.
