Episode 466: You don’t FIND time, you MAKE time

1 Simple Thing Action:
Open your calendar and look for any tasks or obligations you can bundle together to more free space. Tip: gather the small, empty moments into your calendar into larger chunks, then use those chunks of time to pursue big goals. Drop low-priority tasks to make space for the more important ones.

Episode 467: Ditch Your Excuses

1 Simple Thing Action:
Talk to someone who is doing what you wish you could do and ask what their biggest challenges were and how they overcame them. That way you’ll see how they broke through what could have been excuses, and offer you a boost of motivation on how to sail past your perceived limitations.

Episode 468: Overcoming Overwhelm

1 Simple Thing Action:
Schedule a 20-minute appointment with yourself every day this week — in your calendar — to do something that refreshes you and helps to recalibrate your energy. It can be meditation, yoga, journaling, listening to a motivational podcast, walking, exercise or whatever works for you. You can either make that thing that’s stressing you out less overwhelming, or find a way to stop feeling overwhelmed by it.

Episode 469: Are you really working that hard?

1 Simple Thing Action:
Create a mantra that will spur you to work harder when you are unmotivated and feel like slacking, such as, “Work harder” or “Always do your best” or “I’m the kind of person that does things.” But remember, It’s not meant to get you to push through exhaustion or when you really need to take a break.
