Author Sharon Lechter joins us to talk about lessons we can learn from the writings of the great Napoleon Hill, author of “Think and Grow Rich.” She talks on this episode about how truly successful people have something Hill calls a “Definiteness of Purpose.” Sharon defines Definiteness of Purpose as knowing what you want and knowing how you’re going to get there. The 2% of the people out there who are successful have a definiteness of purpose; they know what they want, and they go for it.

1 Simple Thing Action:

Understand what you want, in both long-term and short-term goals. Be specific. Write a mantra: “I want this __________ by this date _________. Then create “Little Wins” or small goals, something that you know you can achieve. “In order to achieve this big goal this week, I am going to do; A, B, C, D.” What happens is you set in motion the momentum needed to accomplish your bigger wins.
