Episode 326: Sharpen Your Focus

1 Simple Thing Action:
Start to define your focus. Figure out what are those things that you are afraid to dream about doing, or afraid to start doing. Start labeling those targets and write them down. The break them down into smaller, more manageable pieces to help you get to the ultimate goal.

Episode 327: Become a Master of Time

1 Simple Thing Action:
Define the big targets you are trying to hit, or those big goals. Break them down into smaller, easy to accomplish pieces and tasks. Then, once you take care of the important goals, you get to say, “Hey, everything I HAVE to do is done. Now, what do I now GET to do?” You now have a ready made list of “passion projects” you can begin to throw yourself into.

Episode 328: Learn to Set Boundaries

1 Simple Thing Action:
A practical example of an intentional boundary: Use two different browsers; one browser for personal use and a completely different browser exclusively for work mode only.
A practical example of dealing with external and internal distractions: Instead of ignoring a distraction, deal with it. Take a few minutes and give it a certain amount of attention. Often the distraction continues to be a distraction because you don’t turn your attention to it quickly and deal with it.

Episode 329: Boost Your Energy TODAY

1 Simple Thing Action:
Have a certain “go dark” time an hour or two before going to bed where you turn off all screens. The blue light from screens impacts our body’s production of melatonin, causing us not to get proper sleep. Also, monitor your energy level to see when your low points and high points are during the day. Then align your tasks to take advantage of your high energy points throughout the day.
